Hey there, dcat here. Just wanted to let y'all know that 1.5 update highlights got a bit slow in the latest days because I'm actually releasing another thing elsewhere! And it's free, so you can play too!

So, a while back MarsCat and I started working on this space shooter that's very different from any other space shooter I've played. She made a prototype that went up to the third boss, and it was very fun to play but she was having trouble keeping up with the development side of the game so I told her that I wanted in as a code monkey. While most space shooters are very, uhm, "cinematic"...? with long stages and very complex upgrade systems, this one's more like a party game, more focused on weird and wacky characters appearing on screen and you having to sort 'em out with your lil' ship thing. So, it's with great pleasure that I'm preseting to you, in name of Mesmerize Games, this shoot'em up that I've been working on for the last year or so: RetroShooti!

As you can see, if you've liked Rescue in Faraway Fields so far it's not that much of a stretch that you might like this game, too. The music is fantastic and the graphics are cute and quirky, it's been a pleasure to work in this game so far!

So, that's what's been going on, why I haven't been around online for a while and why there weren't many updates in a while. Busy with other things. Sorry about that!
